Former defense secretary Gilbert "Gibo" Teodoro's verified Facebook page posted a photo with "2022" on it twice, eliciting questions in the comments section about his political plans.
Since placing fourth in the 2010 presidential elections, Teodoro has largely kept out of the public eye and has dodged calls for him to run again for public office.
In 2014, he was elected to the board of the Philippines' largest lender, BDO Unibank.

Teodoro served as defense secretary to former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, whose party, Lakas-CMD made him their standard bearer. He lost to his cousin, former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III.
A bar topnotcher, Teodoro is also a trained pilot. During his stint in Camp Aguinaldo, he would sometimes fly the military's C-130 cargo planes, including one mission that airlifted soldiers killed in battle from Zamboanga to Manila.
For a time, Teodoro was a key figure in the Nationalist People's Coalition, the party founded by his late uncle, San Miguel boss Eduardo "Danding" Cojuangco.
