Here are the Quarantine Classifications for July, as Recommended by DOH

Metro Manila will remain under general community quarantine or GCQ "with some restrictions" in July while the stricter modified enhanced community quarantine or MECQ  in several provinces in central and southern Philippines where COVID cases are surging, officials said.

The provinces of Rizal, and Bulacan, like the capital region, will also stay under GCQ "with some restrictions" while Laguna and Cavite will be under GCQ "with heightened restrictions."

Health Sec. Francisco Duque recommended the July quarantine classifications to President Rodrigo Duterte during a taped Cabinet meeting that aired close to midnight.

Here are the other community quarantine classifications:

MECQ (July 1-15, 2021)

  • Cagayan
  • Apayao
  • Bataan
  • Lucena City
  • Puerto Princesa
  • Naga City
  • Iloilo City
  • Negros Oriental
  • Zamboanga del Sur
  • Zamboanga del Norte
  • Cagayan de Oro City
  • Davao City
  • Davao Oriental
  • Davao Occidental
  • Davao de Oro
  • Davao del Sur
  • Davao del Norte
  • Butuan City
  • Dinagat Islands
  • Surigao del Sur

GCQ (July 1-15, 2021)

  • Metro Manila (with some restrictions)
  • Rizal (with some restrictions)
  • Bulacan (with some restrictions)
  • Laguna (with heightened restrictions)
  • Cavite (with heightened restrictions)
  • Baguio City
  • Ifugao
  • Santiago City
  • Isabela
