The Philippine website of furniture and lifestyle brand IKEA is up and running with prices and a shopping list function.
Filipinos can now browse the site and see the prices of the Swedish furniture house's goods. We tried adding several items to our shopping list and while it collated all the things we wanted to add to cart, there is no checkout and delivery function yet.
Prices are in Philippine peso with the digital catalogue containing almost every item we could think of including the Linnmon desk, Lerberg and Billy shelves, Skadis pegboards and even the sturdy Frakta bags.
IKEA has set up shop at the Mall of Asia, which is set to open in the fourth quarter of 2021. The local outpost is said to be the brand's biggest branch in the world, sporting the familiar blue exterior, its own restaurant, a play area, and floors upon floors of furniture and design inspo.
