Children in Metro Manila can travel to areas under GCQ and MGCQ, Malacañang said Friday as the government prepares to start the COVID-19 vaccination of minors.
Trips of those below 18 years old from Metro Manila will be limited to point-to-point travel subject to guidelines and health protocols as may be prescribed by the Department of Tourism and the local government unit of destination, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said.
Starting Oct. 15, 15 to 17 year olds in Metro Manila will be given COVID vaccines with priority given to minors with comorbidities, Health Sec. Francisco Duque III earlier said.

Also allowed to travel from Metro Manila to GCQ and MGCQ areas are fully vaccinated persons over 65 years old, with comorbidities, and pregnant women.
Metro Manila is testing the new COVID-19 alert level system until Oct. 15 which the government is looking at to replace community quarantines that have been in place since last year.
