Presidential candidate Leni Robredo answered questions from factory workers, including those supporting her chief rival, Bongbong Marcos, based on a video released Saturday that got 100,000 views in an hour.

Former Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV, who is seeking a comeback in the Senate under Robredo's ticket, released the video on Facebook. He said it was the same garments factory that employs three Marcos supporters he had interviewed in an earlier video.

The first question from a woman wearing a pink Robredo face mask was about why the vice president was seeking the highest office in the land when the country is deep in debt.

"Yung bakit dito, madaming pwedeng baguhin. Parang hindi nababago yung takbo. Ang paniniwala ko, yung pinapakinggan kasi yung dati nang nakaangat," she said.

Robredo then told the crowd about her work as a grassroots lawyer and organizer.

When people in power who are out of touch seek to help farmers and fishermen, they would not immediately go as far as giving them inputs for their work, simply because they don't understand the workers' situation, she said.

A woman then asked Robredo how she would "convince" them to vote for her.

Mas mabuti kung magdedesisyon kayo pag napag-aralan nyo kung sino talaga kami," she said.

Why should voters choose Robredo?
