Vice President Leni Robredo said Saturday a presidential run in 2022 was "possible" and that she could decide in September at the earliest.
The leader of the opposition said running for president was her "default" position, given the prodding of her supporters. However, she prefers to run for a local position.
"As of now, open ako sa kahit ano. Yung pagka-presidente, posible pa din siya," she told GMA News Naga in Camarines Sur.

Robredo, a former congresswoman, said she was happiest serving in a local post as it brings her closer to the people.
The deadline for filing of candidacies for national positions is in early October.
Robredo's win in the 2016 elections was recently validated after the Supreme Court dismissed the election protest of her rival, former senator Bongbong Marcos, who acused her of cheating.
