Vice President Leni Robredo told grieving volunteers of her presidential campaign Friday to join her in fighting lies and disinformation as she invited them to transform their pink movement into the Philippines' largest volunteer network to uplift the poor.

The 57-year-old Robredo urged thousands gathered at the Ateneo de Manila grounds to accept the will of the majority while her team checks allegations of fraud. She got roughly half of the 31 million votes of the presumptive winner, Bongbong Marcos.

Kailangan natin maging isang kilusan na magtatanggol ng katotohanan," she said.

Robredo said that on July 1, the Angat Buhay outreach programs of the Office of the Vice President will be spun off into an NGO.

Ipapakita natin ang buong puwersa ng radikal na pagmamahal," she said as the crowd shouted "sasama kami."

Robredo said she understood the frustration of those who got tired and hoarse trying to explain their stand to those who refuse to listen.

"Siguro pakiramdam ng iba binalewala tayo, minsan pinagtatawanan pa," Robredo said.

Kung may nadadama tayong galit, nag-uugat ito sa pag-ibig," she said.

"Payagan ang sariling lumuha pero maghanda nang pahiran ang luha, pagpagin ang sarili, tibayan ang puso dahil may trabaho pa tayo," she said.

Fact-checkers have said that Robredo was the number one target of fake news and disinformation during the campaign while Marcos Jr. was the top beneficiary. The late dictator's son denied running troll farms.

Kailangan nagtin tanggapin ang pasya ng mayorya," she said.

"Dahil dekadang prinoyekto, matindi at malawak ang makinaryang kayang magpalawak ng galit at kasinungalingan. Ninanakaw nito ang katotohanan kaya't ninanakaw din ang kasaysayan, pati na ang kinabukasan," she said.

Pangilinan told supporters that "there is no such thing as failure, only delay" as he told them the fight for good governance continues.

He likened the election as first quarter of a basketball game, saying "oo nakakalamang ng husto ang kalaban pero 'di pa tapos ang laban.

Celebrities like Jolina Magdangal, Cherry Pie Picache, Angel Locsin and Nikki Valdez graced the stage. Jona, Yeng Constantino, Darren Espanto and bands like Ben&Ben and Gracenote also performed onstage.

Pangilinan's nephew Gab Valenciano also performed the hit campaign jingle "Ang Presidente... Bise Presidente" with his father Gary Valenciano.
