Religious leader Apollo Quiboloy said Sunday he accepts dinner invitations and other meet-up after landing the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation's "Wanted" list for alleged human trafficking.
The self-proclaimed "Appointed Son of God" challenged those who are looking for him to visit him in Davao on Wednesday, where he would inspect the King Dome of Davao-based church Kingdom of Jesus Christ, the Name Above Every Name. He earlier warned the world that more coronavirus variants like omicron would emerge unless people stop "persecuting" him.
"Kayong naghahanap sa akin. Wednesday nandyan ako sa Davao. Wala ako sa loob ng kuweba, nandito lang ako. Gusto ninyong makipag-dinner sa akin, nandito ako, nagla-live pa nga e," he said in a live video posted Sunday on YouTube.
"Doon sa mga gustong makakita sa aking mukha nang mukhaan, nandito po ako. Wala ako sa Dubai, huwag kayo mag-alala, nandito lang ako."
Quiboloy said the cases filed against him was part of him being the appointed son, claiming it is a "saga" of Jesus' story.
"I am the model for that, when [Jesus] said leave everything behind, carry your cross, I'll be crucified there. People will crucify you for doing good. People will crucify you for being righteous. That is the ministry of the devil but the ministry of the Appointed Son, inherited from the begotten son, is to save humanity. This is the saga of that story," he said.
"The greatest honor for a human being is to be called an Appointed Son. Ano pa gagawin ni Satanas, wala siyang magagawa."
Aside from sex trafficking charges, Quiboloy is also facing a libel case filed by Sen. Manny Pacquaio for allegedly claiming the presidential candidate misused government funds.
