The LRT-2 will resume regular hours starting Saturday after weeks of truncated operations due to a high number of COVID-19 cases among personnel.
The first train for both Santolan and Recto stations will leave at 5 a.m., with the last train from Santolan departing at 8:30 p.m. Recto's last train will depart at 9 p.m.
Previously, the LRT-2 was open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. only.
During the first week of April, LRT-2 employees underwent testing following a surge in cases. As some staff were recovering or isolated at home, train services were limited and hours were shortened to curb the spread of the virus.
Commuters affected during this time were advised to take buses.
