Metro Manila mayors have agreed to shorten the curfew in the capital region to just four hours starting Tuesday, June 15, a government official said Monday.
Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Benhur Abalos said the curfew would run from 12 midnight to 4 a.m. to give people more time outdoors.
"This will give more time sa mga taong kakain sa mga restaurant, sa mga malls, travel time at siguro makatulong na ng husto sa ating ekonomiya," Abalos said.
The announcement comes as the prevailing general community quarantine in Metro Manila is set to expire on Tuesday.
