All 17 Metro Manila mayors have agreed to get vaccinated for COVID-19 to boost public confidence in immunization, their council head said Monday.
Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno received his first dose of the Sinovac vaccine last Sunday. Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez, who heads the Metro Manila council, said he would get innoculated this week.

Several local government officials had earned public ire for receiving COVID-19 vaccines even though the government's vaccination program prioritizes healthcare workers and the elderly.
