Metro Manila will remain under general community quarantine or GCQ until the end of February, Malacañang said Friday.
Other areas that will be under GCQ are the Cordillera Administrative Region, Batangas, Tacloban City, Davao City, Davao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, and Iligan City.
The rest of the Philippines will be under modified general community quarantine or MGCQ, the lowest form of restrictions that is one notch lower than GCQ.

Authorities have also been on guard against the spread of the more contagious UK variant of SARS-CoV-2, known as B.1.1.7. -- with cases reported in different parts of Luzon.
The public has been repeatedly reminded to strictly observe minimum health standards such as wearing face masks and observing physical distancing to fight the spread of COVID-19.
The Philippines is expecting an initial supply of COVID-19 vaccines in February as it catches up with other countries that have started their mass immunization programs.
