Singer Moira dela Torre sang her hit song "Malaya" on Independence Day, teasing her followers of pulling off a Taylor Swift move with the text "10min version."
The video, viewed more than 5 million times on TikTok and Facebook, got netizens greeting the newly-separated crooner "Happy Malaya Day" on June 12.
In the video, she tweaked parts of the chorus and changed it to:

Baka sakaling mahanap ang sarili

Dela Torre's teaser was reminiscent of the super-sized version of Swift's ballad "All Too Well", released in 2021 with new sections and became the longest No. 1 by run time in the Billboard Hot 100's history at 10 minutes and 13 seconds.
"Malaya", the original soundtrack of movie "Camp Sawi", is originally four minutes and 17 seconds long.
Dela Torre, who separated with ex-husband Jason Hernandez over cheating, said her song is more than just a heartbreak song.
"I know na parang may pinapalaya kang tao, ganyan. It was actually a note to self na pinapalaya ko ang sarili ko sa negativity and sa mga bagay na 'di ko kayang kontrolin," she said during a "Magandang Buhay" episode.
"It was basically reminding myself na just like everything, lilipas din 'yan. Na tulad ng gabi, dadating din ang umaga."
