The Inter-Agency Task Force on Thursday approved the use of OneHealthPass for inbound and outbound travel in the Philippines starting Sept. 1, its spokesperson said.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said use of the platform will be required throughout the duration of the state of national public health emergency.
OneHealthPass is an online health declaration tool from the Bureau of Quarantine and the Department of Transportation. Use of the platform aims to promote convenient and seamless movement of international travelers from departure from the country of origin to arrival at the local government unit of destination.
The IATF also approved the request of the Philippine Racing Commission for the operation of their Off-Track Betting (OTB) stations in Metro Manila during MECQ, subject to the approval of the concerned local government units.
Operation for OTBs is strictly limited to selling of tickets, with strict enforcement of health and safety protocols at all times.
