Actor Paolo Ballesteros is the host of the season 1 of "Drag Race Philippines", the newest international edition of LGBTQIA icon RuPaul's reality contest, its producer World of Wonder said Tuesday.
Premiering Aug. 17, the Philippine adaptation of the popular reality TV show named Ballesteros, who is known for his makeup transformations, as the main host with a serve of his drag queen look -- with big hair, full lips, grand eye makeup, and a floral off-shoulder gown.
"MABU-HEYYY!" said the show in its caption, introducing Ballesteros as a "Filipino drag artist, celebrity model, and superstar host".

Drag Race Philippines is the latest international spinoff of the reality show franchise created by RuPaul, after Spain, the UK, Down Under (Australia and New Zealand) and Thailand, among others.
