Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto said authorities would implement a barangay coding scheme for cemetery visits in preparation for All Souls Day and All Saints Day. These areas, along with memorial parks and columbariums are closed on Oct. 29 to Nov. 4 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Though closed on the actual days of Undas, cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbariums in Pasig City will be open from Oct. 26 to 28 and Nov. 5 to 7.
Filipino families often reunite and visit cemeteries to pay respects to the dead during this time. However, public gatherings remain restricted as the entire country remains under some form of quarantine.

Cemetery visit reminders and requirements for Pasig City residents:
- Only residents of Pasig are allowed to enter cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbariums on Oct. 26 to 28 and Nov. 5 to 7
- Non-residents can enter said places on other dates
- Residents must bring proof of residence such as an ID or barangay certificate in order to enter
- There are no age restrictions for entering
- Face masks and face shields are mandatory
Individuals who fail to follow guidelines will be fined P1,000 or have their business permits suspended.
