With community pantries for humans sprouting all over, the Philippine Animal Welfare Association on Wednesday followed suit and opened a community pantry filled with pet supplies for indigent owners looking to feed their furry friends.

The PAWS Community PAWntry is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays to Saturdays. Pet owners can pass by the PAWntry and get food for their cat or dog.

Community pantries in Quezon City and Mandaluyong City also got a visit from the PAWS team who dropped off food donations for pets. Pantry organizers were told they could reach out for more pet supplies once they run out.
