Construction on the North-South Commuter Railway project, which cuts aims to travel between areas in Luzon, is underway during the pandemic, a progress report video showed.

The Build, Build, Build project runs for a total of 148 kilometers, with 37 stations, 464 train cars, and an estimated 830,000 passenger capacity once fully operational.
The NSCR consists of three phases, the first being the PNR Clark Phase 1, which is a 38-kilometer rail line that will connect Tutuban, Manila to Malolos, Bulacan. It is projected to slash travel time between the two areas from approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to just 35 minutes.
The Phase 1 segment is 40.48% complete and partial operations are targetted for December 2021.
Construction of stations and viaducts is ongoing. The pre-cast segment, one of the main components of the rail line construction, is designed and patterned after international railway construction guidelines.
