Manila's Quiapo Church has put up a memorial wall to remember those who succumbed to COVID-19 as the pandemic drags for over one year.
Churchgoers can write the names of their departed loved ones who succumbed to the disease that has claimed over three million lives worldwide.
Pope Francis at the start of May launched a month-long prayer marathon to hasten the end of the pandemic.

Catholic shrines around the world were asked to recite the rosary as part of a prayer marathon for the end of the pandemic.
Bishop Broderick Pabillo had said the memorial wall could be copied by other parishesto mourn and remember their loved ones.
“This can serve as a reminder to all to always pray for them,” Pabillo said in a CBCP News report.
As of May 6, the Philippines has reported 17,991 deaths due to COVID-19.
