How do you manage your money during the pandemic? Billionaire and San Miguel boss Ramon S. Ang says spend wisely and don't quit your job to start a business.
Resigning to invest during the most uncertain times is "crazy," the San Miguel COO told editors at Summit Sandwich Sessions.
"Pinaka-importante in this pandemic, stay home, stay safe, work hard. But in my case, I don't follow that kasi I come to work everyday," he said. "Also, spend your money wisely. In a pandemic, not all the investments you do nowadays will have a good return."
Asked for investment tips, Ang said: "I think this is not the time for you. Kung ikaw may trabaho, treasure your job. Kung ikaw may gusto pasukin, 'wag mag-resign, try to invest a little. Dahan-dahanin mo."
Why is quitting your job to start a business at this time "crazy?" Ang said: "Mas sure na hindi ka kikita unless smuggling of face shield and face mask."
