Sen. Robin Padilla, who topped the last election in his showbiz to politics crossover, has informed the Senate that he would like to be addressed by his real name -- "Robinhood" -- according to his letter obtained by the media on Tuesday.
In a letter addressed to Senate Secretary Myra Marie Villarica, which his office confirmed to reportr, Padilla said he prefers to be addressed as "Robinhood C. Padilla" in all of the communications and correspondences in the Senate.

Padilla topped the May 9 senatorial elections with over 26 million votes, qualifying him into the exclusive group of Senate topnotchers whose names continue to chart the country's political landscape.
Dubbed as the "Bad Boy" of 90s cinema, Padilla rose to fame playing as the anti-hero in movies who does good deeds for his family and people in unconventional ways.
One of the first measures that Padilla filed was a bill seeking to legalize divorce in the Philippines, which he said was meant to protect families, not to destroy them.
