Vice President Leni Robredo said Sunday she underwent quarantine after she came in contact with COVID-positive patient patient last week.
In her radio program, Robredo said she took an RT-PCR test after her exposure, which came out negative. She added that she would resume work in her office on Monday.
"Maswerte pa rin ako na kahit nae-expose, nagne-negative naman. At yung opisina, istrikto din sa quarantine protocols," the vice president said.
Back in April, Robredo also isolated herself after her close-in security staff tested positive for COVID-19.
The vice president has yet to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, barring her from physically attending President Rodrigo Duterte's final State of the Nation Address last Monday. She eventually took part in the event virtually.
Robredo is set to receive her second dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine on Aug. 11.
