People who got COVID-19 after their booster vaccines don't need to get a second booster jab for now, the Department of Health said, citing the need to vaccinate the general population.
Those who develop COVID-19 symptoms or test positive should wait until they are well before getting vaccinated, said Dr. Beverly Ho, director of DOH's Health Promotion and Communication Service.
In case an undiagnosed COVID patient gets a booster while ill, the jab will still help lower the risk of hospitalization or death, she said.
