Summer (or dry season) may be over in the Philippines, but you can still squeeze in one last trip before the rainy season fully dampens your travel plans.

Below, we list the major travel requirements for some popular tourist destinations in the Philippines. Most have dropped the RT-PCR requirement for fully vaccinated individuals, so you'll only have to present proof of vaccination and comply with area-specific guidelines.

You can schedule your last-minute trips to these Philippine tourist spots:

Batanes

Only fully vaccinated tourists may enter Batanes with the following documents:

  • Vaccination cards or digital copy of vaccination certificate from VaxCertPH
  • Approved travel pass via S-Pass
  • Certificate of Acceptance issued by the provincial tourism office upon submission of requirements

Health screening will be conducted upon a arrival accompanied by the submission of a health declaration form.

Check our Batanes guide for the full list of requirements.

Baguio

Baguio is currently open to fully vaccinated tourists online and while a negative test is no longer required for those coming from areas under Alert Level 2 or lower, accommodation establishments may still require it.

To enter the Summer Capital of the Philippines Secure, tourists must secure a QR-coded Tourist Pass or QTP by registering through Baguio V.I.S.I.T.A., the online registration system for Baguio tourists. This pass will be your ticket to enter the city.

Proof of vaccination is also required. For more details, check our guide to visiting Baguio.

Boracay

Fully vaccinated tourists must present their VaxCert PH certification or vaccination card with vaccination certificate from vaccination center with contact details.

Unvaccinated travelers must present a negative RT-PCR test result (swab or saliva) with 72 hours validity.

Visitors must also present a hotel reservation from a Department of Tourism-accredited establishment, government-issued ID, travel itinerary, and fill out an online health declaration form.

Check out our Boracay guide for complete details.

La Union

Before anything else, apply for NAPANAM, La Union's digital contact tracing app. You have to send a confirmed accommodation, vaccination cards, and government-issued IDs with home address and birthday.
