Dry season is officially here, PAGASA said Wednesday, reminding the public to keep hydrated as days become longer and warmer.
Hotter than usual days will be expected in the coming months as the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan that is associated with Christmas weather weakens, the weather bureau said.
It also means fewer rains brought about by localized thunderstorms and easterlies, or warm winds blowing from the Pacific Ocean.
PAGASA told the public to take precautions to minimize the effects of heat and drink plenty of water to keep themselves hydrated.
