"The Kingmaker", a documentary about the resurgence of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos' family, will be available with a Tagalog dub and captions in Tagalog, Bisaya, Ilocano, Bicol, and Hiligaynon, its creator said.
Filmmaker Lauren Greenfield asked for retweets of her post on the refreshed versions of "The Kingmaker", so that "everyone gets a heads up". The film is currently free to stream on Vimeo and YouTube.

Ilocano subtitles will bring "The Kingmaker" more accessible to what the Marcos family claims is their political bailiwick -- northern Philippine provinces that speak the language. The late strongman was born in Ilocos and his family rules Ilocos Norte province.
In "The Kingmaker", Greenfield delves into the excesses of the Marcos family -- from former first lady Imelda Marcos' jewels to shipping animals from Africa to establish a safari in Calauit, Palawan.
It also showed how the failure of subsequent leaders after Marcos to significantly uplift the lives of the poor led to the rise of President Rodrigo Duterte alongside the Marcos family. The late dictator's only son and namesake is leading in surveys to replace Duterte in the May 9 elections.
