Notwithstanding the dangers of the pandemic, Allyn Balaba goes around different barangays in Iligan, Lanao del Norte, giving away food to over a hundred people every week.
On her Youtube channel, Indai Allyn Simple Life and Cooking, she may describe her life in the province as plain, but her 170,000 followers know she is anything but that, given her mission.

Taking after her mother's cooking skills and her late father's relentless desire to help, she uses her Youtube-earned money to sustain her weekly feeding program. As a proud "bisaya", she also aims for her followers to learn how to cook her region's dishes.
"Gusto ko rin matutunan ng aking viewers and followers how to cook. Most of the time Visayan recipe kasi Bisaya po ako. Para mainspire din po sila to do the same kahit sa maliit na paraan," she said.
