There are full moons and there are supermoons, astronomical events that they beg to be photographed with world landmarks like the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Statue of Liberty in New York.
On April 27, the first of two supermoons of 2021 cast a soft glow over Metro Manila, with millions awaiting the fate of the quarantines.
What makes a supermoon? It happens when the Moon is at its closest to the Earth making it appear bigger and brighter than usual. The technical terms are a mouthful, hence the term, supermoon.
