Presidential candidate Leni Robredo's second daughter, Tricia, on Wednesday appealed for more patience instead of going "barda" or ballistic when convincing supporters of rival bets to turn pink.
While her mother's recent campaign rallies have been attracting tens of thousands, Tricia said the "elephant in the room" is that the situation on the ground is "very different".
"Admittedly, nakakalungkot at nakakainis din. Lalo na dahil crossing the line na 'yung iba. Some of them have already made up their minds and it’s quite futile to engage. Pero marami rin ang nananatili pang bukas makinig. 'Wag sana natin silang sukuan," she said.

The young Robredo urged supporters to go outside their circles and keep trying to convert more voters to their fold.
"Medyo more than six years na ring nakaka-tempt mangbarda lolz but habaan pa nang kaunti ang pasensya," she said.
"Maraming nabiktima lang din ng disinformation. Maraming hirap, kumakayod at naghahanap lang ng maiuuwi sa pamilya. Ipaglaban din natin sila," she said.
The vice president's daughter also urged supporters to listen and try to engage calmly. This means avoiding offensive and elitist tones and name-calling, even when it's tempting.
