Fully vaccinated Filipinos who have generated their digital COVID-19 vaccine certificates known as VaxCertPH before Monday, Feb. 7 need to get a new version of the document, the Department of Health said Monday.

All individuals who have downloaded their VaxCertPH before Feb. 7 need to get a new version due to new features implemented by the government, the DOH said.

VaxCertPH is the digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate of the Philippines that can be used in place of physical vaccine cards as proof of immunization.

Fully vaccinated individuals can get their VaxCertPH from the government portal or can request for the digital document from their local government unit 48 hours after their full vaccination.

Some 59.8 million Filipinos have completed their COVID-19 vaccine doses as of Feb. 4, data from the health department showed.
