Baguio Session Road Closed From Nov. 30 to Dec. 1

Both lanes of Baguio Session Road will be closed to vehicular traffic starting Nov. 30 until Dec. 1 to make way for Christmas celebrations, the city's public information office said Friday.

According to the Executive Order signed by Baguio City Mayor Benajmin Magalong, the road from the Rotunda in front of the Baguio Post Office down to Malcolm Square, Lower Session Rd. will be closed from 12 m.n. on Nov. 30 until 12 m.n. on Dec.1.

The closure is a safety precaution during the preparation for the opening program of the city's month-long Christmas in Baguio event, which kicks off at Malcolm Square with a symbolic lighting of the Christmas Panels followed by a short walk towards the Upper Session Road and lighting of the Baguio City Christmas Tree.

Both lanes will be closed for ease of movement and to accommodate social distancing measures.

The whole stretch of A. Mabini St. will be open to vehicular traffic.
