Caloy to Bring Rains Over Western Luzon, Visayas

It's unlikely to hit land.

(UPDATE) Tropical depression Caloy has developed off Zambales and will bring rains to the western portions of Luzon and the Visayas as it moves northwest, away from the mainland, PAGASA said Wednesday.

Caloy, the third storm of the year, was located at 375 kilometers west of Iba, Zambales at 10 a.m., packing maximum sustained winds of 45 kph with 55 kph gusts, weather forecaster Grace Castañeda said.

The storm will enhance the habagat or monsoon bringing rains for the entire day Wednesday in Bataan, Zambales, Occidental and Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Aurora, Quezon Province, she said. 

Metro Manila will experience cloudy skies and thunderstorms, she said.
