Tourism secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said that the original price of P1,500 for a swab test at the Philippine Children's Medical Center has been slashed to P750.

"It is my pleasure to announce today that we are expanding this RT-PCR testing subsidy program for our tourists. Through this partnership, DOT [Department of Tourism] further lowers the cost of the RT-PCR test," Puyat said.

The partnership deal was signed by the DOT, PCMC, and the Tourism Promotions Board.
