From Putin with Love, Filipinos Allowed to Secure E-Visas to Russia
It will be easier for Filipinos to visit Russia from 2021, as the Philippines was among 52 countries whose citizens will be allowed to participate in a pilot e-visa project, Miscow's mission in Manila said Thursday.
This means Filipino tourists, once COVID restrictions permit of course, can see the onion-shaped domes of St. Peter's Basilica, The Kremlin and Red Square with fewer requirements, the Russian Embassy in Manila said.
The e-visa was previously available to Filipinos, but only to St. Petersburg.

Unlike in the old system, e-visa applicants do not need an invitation, hotel booking or any other documents to confirm their reasons for travel, the embassy said. The consular fee is $40 (P1,900).
Filipinos will be allowed for tourism, business, humanitarian and guest trips for up to 16 days from just 8 days previously.
"So, starting from 2021 Filipinos will have an easy way to visit Russia ???? #visitrussia2021," the Russian Embassy wrote on Facebook, adding more details would be released soon.
