The amihan or cold winds blowing from the north will keep Auring from intensifying to typhoon strength. Should it develop into a tropical depression, it will bring rainsto eastern Visayas and Mindanao by Thursday or Friday, forecaster Ana Clauren told Teleradyo.
Auring will likely have a wide cloud cover, bringing the threat of rains, Clauren said.
On Tuesday, the tail-end of a frontal system will being light to moderate to at times heavy rains to the Visayas and Mindanao, she said.
Metro Manila, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon and Bicol will experience cloudy skies and light rains due to the northeast monsoon, she said.
