More travel restrictions eased.

Some foreign nationals can enter the Philippines starting Nov.1, Malacañang said Friday as the Philippines further eased travel restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Those with investor visas, visas issued by the Department of Justice, the Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority, and the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority will be allowed to enter the Philippines, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said.

They must have a valid visa at the time of the entry and must likewise have a pre-booked accredited quarantine facility.

"In addition, they must be subject to the maximum capacity of inbound passengers at the port and date of entry and must follow applicable immigration laws, rules and regulations," Roque said in a statement.

Last Wednesday, the Philippines allowed its citizens to travel abroad for leisure trips.
