Diesel Prices Set to Increase by P3.10 Per Liter Starting June 21

(UPDATE) Motorists will spend more on fuel starting Tuesday, June 21 as diesel and gasoline prices increase for the third straight week.

Gas company Cleanfuel said it would implement a diesel increase of P3.10 per liter and hike in gasoline prices by P0.80 per liter starting 8:01 a.m. Tuesday.

SEAOIL will also implement the following price increase on fuel starting 6 a.m. Tuesday:  P3.10/L for diesel, P1.70 for kerosene, and P0.80/L for gasoline.

More fuel price hikes are expected this June due to global factors such as increased demand for oil in other countries and European Union's ban on oil imports from Russia, the Department of Energy said earlier.
