Gasoline Prices to Increase, Diesel Prices to Go Down

Gasoline prices are set to increase while diesel prices are set to go down on Aug. 2, oil firms said as household budgets cope with soaring prices of basic commodities.

A P0.60 rollback per liter of diesel will be implemented while the price of gasoline will be hiked by P0.75 per liter according to oil firms Cleafuel and Seaoil.

Fuel prices have been on the rise for the most part of 2022, hurting household budgets struggling with high inflation.

The Department of Energy has previously advised motorists to take advantage of promos in gasoline stations to ease the burden of high fuel prices.
