Fully-vaccinated health workers can get booster shots starting Nov. 17 to give them added protection against COVID-19, the Department of Health said Monday.

Three brands -- Moderna, Pfizer, and Sinovac -- are recommended for use as booster jabs regardless of the brand used for the first two doses, said DOH.

About 1.5 fully vaccinated health workers will be given booster shots, immunization czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said.

Guidelines for the rollout will be released by Nov. 16, said DOH.
