Globe Telecom on Friday introduced new deals under their rewards program to give customers more options when using their earned points while under quarantine.
According to Head of Globe Rewards Joey Kilayko, the program had to shift to include the customers' pandemic wants and needs. The old offers stuck alongside brand new deals users could avail while under lockdown.
These include shopping discounts on Shopee and Lazada, as well as deals on Grab delivery. Points accrued can also be used as GCash credit, which can be used to pay for utilities, bills, and other online purchases.
Entertainment services such as streaming and music subscriptions were also made available as people are cooped up at home without concerts and cinema dates. Services like Viu and Garena offer deals on the Globe Rewards app.
Globe Home Broadband customers are now included in the telco's loyalty program. Offers like bill rebates and Globe services promos are still available.
Every Wednesday, the Globe Rewards app runs flash deals which enable users to buy certain vouchers for fewer points. A raffle, which sees 1,010 winners, is also held periodically.
All points earned in the past year will automaticall expire on Mar. 31, 2021.
