Grace Poe is Fourth Senator to Catch COVID in 3 Weeks
Fourth senator to get COVID in three weeks.
Sen. Grace Poe has tested positive for COVID-19, Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri said Wednesday.
Poe is the fourth senator to contract COVID-19 in the past three weeks, after Senators Alan Peter Cayetano, Imee Marcos, and Cynthia Villar.
"Ma'am, please get well soon from your COVID-19. We pray in the Senate that you stay safe and you can hurdle the COVID-19," Zubiri said.
The Senate is currently implementing a three-week "lockdown" for guests to further prevent the spread of COVID-19 among its community.
