Travelers from These Countries Need Only 7 Days of Quarantine in the Philippines

Malacañang on Wednesday released the list of countries and territories considered "low-risk" for COVID-19 transmission, where travelers coming from only need to undergo seven days of quarantine upon arrival in the Philippines.

Instead of the usual 10-day facility-based quarantine, travelers from the so-called "green countries" and jurisdictions only need to stay for seven days at a quarantine facility.

The inter-agency task force on COVID-19 response listed the following "green" or low-risk countries and jurisdictions:

  • American Samoa
  • Anguilla
  • Antigua and Barbuda
  • Australia
  • Benin
  • Belize
  • The British Virgin Islands
  • Brunei
  • Burkina Faso
  • Burundi
  • Cayman Islands
  • Chad
  • China
  • Cote d’ Ivoire (Ivory Coast)
  • Eswatini
  • Falkland Islands
  • French Polynesia
  • Gambia
  • Ghana
  • Greenland
  • Grenada
  • Hong Kong
  • Iceland
  • Isle of Man
