- Sen. Imee Marcos said martial law was "one million years ago" as she urged Filipinos to focus on the country’s present problems.
- Facing Bongbong in the presidential race, Sen. Manny Pacquiao said the Marcos family should return its ill-gotten wealth to Filipinos as he gave out cash assistance to the poor.
- The Commission on Elections stressed the need to craft a new law to limit the use of social media for campaign purposes.
