The House of Representatives on Wednesday launched a website for President Rodrigo Duterte's final State of the Nation Address on July 26.

The website, so far, contains press releases and progress video reports of a handful of congressmen.

House Speaker Allan Velasco said the website would be filled in the coming days with updates about the President's upcoming report, legislative accomplishments of the Duterte administration, and select speeches by members of the 18th Congress that would be compiled in a book titled "In the Name of the People."

“At the height of the pandemic, Congress and the Executive worked together to produce pieces of legislation designed to help address and cushion the socioeconomic impact of the ongoing public health crisis, such as the Bayanihan laws, General Appropriations Act of 2021, and COVID-19 Vaccination Program Act,” Velasco said.

More people--up to 200--are expected to physically attend President  Duterte's final SONA compared to the 50 allowed last year due to strict COVID-19 restrictions.
