What's new with iOS 16?

The biggest overhaul to the lockscreen in years as iOS 16 supports dynamic widgets and customizable clock faces. The notifications were also moved to the bottom of the lock screen so that you can access it with your thumb.

Apple also made it easier to adjust focus settings. This means you get to control which apps and contacts can send you notifications during specific times of the day. This is especially useful in silencing your MS Teams and Viber work chats.

Messages get an edit feature but this works only when the person you're swapping iMessages with is also on iOS 16.

Later in the year, Apple will also allow shared iCloud libraries.
