Vice President Leni Robredo sat down with popular TV host Vice Ganda in a one-on-one interview where she explained how her win in the May 9 elections would be a victory for all Filipinos, regardless of their color or political background.

In her YouTube vlog uploaded on Tuesday, Vice asked the vice president how she can assure that the public will be better off if she wins the elections. The TV host earlier formally endorsed Robredo for president during her birthday rally in Pasay City.

Robredo admitted that while she gets goosebumps when making such a promise, it's a matter that can be seen with how she led in the last six years.

Kasi makikita nila na all my life, talagang mahirap yung pinagsilbihan ko," he said.

Her assurance, Robredo added, is her track record of honest and transparent governance.

Marangya ba yung aming buhay?

At ang SALN ko, ako lang yan ang nagme-make public nun," she even said when asked if she became richer after she was elected vice president.

Robredo warned the public against patronage politics, which happens when people appear to owe a "debt" to politicians after being given small forms of assistance.

Yun ang masama sa pulitika natin," she said.

If she becomes president, Robredo said she would lead to serve, and not to earn.

Vice is just one of the many celebrities who endorsed Robredo for president, which also include Angel Locsin, Piolo Pascual, Nadine Lustre, and even beauty queens Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray.
