Davao City Liquor Ban is Extended Until End of 2021

Alcohol drinking in public places is not allowed in Davao City until the end of 2021 after Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio extended the city's liquor ban to help stop the spread of COVID-19, the local government said Tuesday.
The liquor ban will be in effect 24/7 until Dec. 31, the mayor said based in an executive order released on Facebook.

Duterte-Carpio also extended the implementation of curfew from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. until the end of the year.
So far, the city has recorded three cases of the highly infectious Delta coronavirus variant.
