Magnitude 4.6 Earthquake Strikes Off Zambales, Felt in Quezon City

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck off Zambales Friday afternoon, with parts of Quezon City feeling the tremor, Phivolcs said.

The earthquake hit 7 kilometers west of the coastal town of Masinloc at 4:36 p.m., with a depth of 40 kilometers, Phivolcs said.

Intensity II was felt in Quezon City.

No aftershocks were expected, it said.
