The mother of popular Filipino vlogger Lloyd Cadena has finally spoken out about his untimely death in early September. She denounced fake social media pages parading as herself in a time of grief and asked fans to report them.
In the same video, Cadena's mother addressed the concerns of fans regarding their family's well-being and assured them that they all tested negative for the coronavirus, which her son had before he died. The vlogger's death was met with outpouring of grief from fans and fellow influencers on social media.
"Mahirap man tanggapin, tanggapin nalang natin.
She also thanked fans for their support, as well as Lloyd's influencer friends including Ivana Alawi who reached out to them and helped.
Cadena's mother has over 1.41 million followers on Youtube, while her late son has 6.5 and 1.4 million followers on Facebook and Twitter, respectively.
