Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto shared the city’s proposed plans for a socialized housing building for residents living in danger zone.

In a Twitter post, Sotto shared the look and said the city’s non-COVID programs would still resume even during the pandemic.

Sotto clarified that he didn’t promise housing for everyone, as it is currently not possible. Walang palakasan sa pagpili ng benipisaryo,” his post said.

Pasig residents in danger zones, such as floodways, would be given priority for the soon-to-rise socialized housing site.

The buildings and site would have a stable structure, water, electricity, and located near health services centers, schools, and workplaces, he said. Those not very familiar with housing may be surprised at how often these basic needs aren't met,” he added.
